FAM is a buying house run by people who make garments, not by people who forward emails. We take brands in the United States, Europe and Australia into India's new generation of factories, and we stay on the floor until the container is sealed.
This cluster has rebuilt itself over twenty years. Better fabric, better dyeing, better compliance, better people, better finishing.
Most overseas buyers are still working from a picture of India that is ten years old, through agents who have never stood in a dyehouse and cannot tell you why a shade failed. So the good factories never meet the good brands, and both sides pay for it in samples, in delays and in margin.
FAM closes that distance. We were the manufacturer. We know which unit can hold a 160 GSM organic single jersey at 40 degree wash, which one is honest about its effluent treatment, and which one will quietly substitute your yarn in the second production run. That knowledge is the product.
Twenty two years of factory ownership, now working for the buyer.
Every problem in a garment programme is a fabric decision that was made too late. So we start here, before the tech pack, before the costing, before the factory is even chosen.
Open a card. This is a working sample of the library we develop from, across Tiruppur, Vietnam, Indonesia and China.
A buying house should absorb the complexity, not forward it. You get one point of contact and one set of numbers, from yarn booking to the bill of lading.
Knit and yarn development, shade matching, hand feel, shrinkage and wash trials. We work with the mill directly, so the fabric is engineered to your price and your care label, not sold to you off a shelf.
We match your product to the unit that is built for it, on machinery, on minimums and on temperament. Then we negotiate on your side of the table, with a cost sheet you can read line by line.
Inline inspection from cutting through to packing, not a single final audit that finds the problem when it is too late to fix. You get photographs and status from the line, in your inbox, every week.
Social audits, chemical management, effluent treatment and certified chain of custody, documented from the ginner forward. If a claim goes on your label, we can evidence it.
We place work where it belongs. A cotton tee should not be made in the same unit as a bonded seam jacket, and no brand should carry all of its risk in one country.
Certification held at partner mill and unit level
Organic and recycled programmes are documented from the ginner and the bale forward, with transaction certificates that survive an audit.
We work with zero liquid discharge dyehouses, which is not a marketing line in Tiruppur but a legal condition of operating here. Chemical inventories are screened against your restricted substance list.
Audited wages, hours and housing. We revisit, we do not certify once and look away. If a unit will not open a door to us, it does not make your product.
Most waste in this industry is made before the order is even placed. Getting the fabric right in the first round is the most sustainable thing a buying house can do.
A single sequence, with a named person against every stage. You always know where your order is and what is due next.
Product, price, volume, market, standards. We tell you on the first call if it is buildable at your number.
Development and lab dips before a factory is chosen, so the cloth leads the costing.
Open cost sheet. Fabric, trim, CMT, freight and our fee, all visible.
Proto, fit, size set and pre production sample, tracked against one calendar.
Yarn booked, line loaded, inline inspection, weekly photographs from the floor.
Final AQL, packing, documentation and dispatch, with the paperwork your customs needs.
Not the easy repeat order. Send the style you cannot get made at your price, or the fabric claim you cannot get evidenced. That is the fastest way to see what we are.
