We have printed cloth in India for thirty five years and sent it out to London, Dubai and the Far East. We still begin the same way. With the fabric first, and the woman who will wear it second.
Every piece is printed, cut and finished in our own unit. Nothing is bought in.
Each one is named before it is designed. The name decides the cloth, and the cloth decides the cut.
The collection began with a question we kept asking in the print room. What does a woman actually reach for on a Tuesday morning, when nobody is watching and she still wants to feel like herself?
The answer was not more embroidery. It was better cloth, a cleaner cut, and a print that does not shout. Fifty nine pieces, one restraint, worn a hundred different ways.
